Job Description

We are currently seeking an Infrastructure Finance Lawyer to work with Axiom’s clients on major infrastructure and project finance transactions. In this role, you will provide strategic legal advice, draft and negotiate financing documentation, and manage multi-jurisdictional deals. This is an opportunity to collaborate with top-tier organizations and deliver pragmatic solutions for high-profile projects.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide legal advice and support on infrastructure finance transactions, including structuring, negotiating, and documenting complex financing arrangements
  • Draft, negotiate, and review documentation such as loan agreements, security packages, intercreditor agreements, and ancillary documents
  • Manage domestic and cross-border transactions and coordinate with external counsel and other stakeholders
  • Liaise with internal teams and institutional clients to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct legal analysis and due diligence to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with infrastructure projects
  • Stay informed on regulatory developments and market trends impacting infrastructure finance and provide guidance accordingly

Requirements

  • You must have the right to work and be eligible to practice as a lawyer in the UK
  • Strong academic credentials and proven experience in infrastructure finance and project finance matters
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial awareness and ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused solutions
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience gained in leading law firms or high-quality in-house teams is advantageous
