Job Description:

Run and support functions Level 2 Infrastructure Support from state-of-the-art regional Command Centre in partnership with Shift Managers, Regional leads, Staff Managers and analysts in Network/Distributed Team

Job Responsibility:

Troubleshoot and resolve L2 infrastructure issues in network and distributed environment
Support Shift Lead/Manager/Staff manager by providing L2 support
Engage higher level support, Platform leads, upper management, and other stakeholders
Continuously assess workload distribution and shift dynamics
Provide inputs to operations, projects and other areas
Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions
Create complex project plans, perform impact analyses
Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service
Design testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams
Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements
Provide technical/strategic direction and act as advisor/coach to junior analysts
Develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities

Requirements:

Technical Operations/Support experience of 8+ years
Network technical knowledge at CCNP level
Distributed knowledge related to servers
Understanding of a multilayer environment
Problem solving, methodical with analytical skills
Able to communicate technical terminology at the appropriate level
Good organizational and coordinating skills
Good time management skills with high sense of urgency
Ability to work through a multitude of challenges/obstacles
Ability to operate within tightly controlled operational procedures
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
