Job Description

We are working with a Global Professional Services client as they look to add to their Infrastructure Team with the appointment of an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to complement their Manchester team. You would work as a wider cross border team supporting their Global estate. Spanning Europe, Asia, America and the Middle East they have a workforce of more than 5,500 and continually invest in their Technology function. You are joining them as they continue their cloud adoption journey. With a multibillion-dollar revenue they continually invest in tools and technology to improve the way in which they work.

Job Responsibility

  • You will be pivotal in enhancing the Azure skills set within the team
  • You would work as a wider cross border team supporting their Global estate

Requirements

  • You will have experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (ie Azure DevOps, ArgoCD) and be able to demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services and solutions
  • You MUST be able to evidence proven hands-on commercial experience with Kubernetes in a production environment (preferably Red Hat OpenShift)
  • You will have some experience in automating infrastructure processes using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
  • Expertise in the VMware Cloud Foundation suite
  • You will be able to demonstrate experience with automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible

Nice to have

Ideally you will hold a Kubernetes certification, such as Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (RHCSA) or an equivalent (ie CKA/CKAD) or cloud and on prem certification (ie VMware Certified Professional (VCP), RedHat Certified System Administrator (RHSA), Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate etc)
