Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure engineering rather than application development. This role is responsible for maintaining, automating, and improving the organization’s core systems, networks, cloud environments, and deployment pipelines that support enterprise‑level financial operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and support core infrastructure services across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments
  • Build, automate, and maintain CI/CD and infrastructure pipelines (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
  • Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to improve observability
  • Support configuration, provisioning, and lifecycle management of servers, networks, and storage
  • Collaborate with security teams to enforce access controls, patching, compliance, and system hardening
  • Maintain containerized infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes) used for internal tooling and services
  • Optimize system performance, capacity, reliability, and cost efficiency across all environments
  • Assist with incident response, root cause analysis, and long‑term remediation strategies
  • Document infrastructure standards, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and modernization efforts

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
  • Strong background in Linux/Windows administration and enterprise infrastructure support
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, load balancing)
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Datadog, etc.)
  • Scripting proficiency (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
  • Strong attention to security, compliance, and operational excellence
