Join a major Infrastructure and Security Modernisation Program dedicated to transforming a large digital environment. We are seeking high-performing specialists for long-term contract engagements based in Brisbane CBD.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex modernisation projects across hybrid cloud, network, and security enhancements
  • Own the delivery operating model (Scrum/Kanban) and manage work intake across small and large project-scale delivery
  • Hands-on leadership of the day-to-day delivery operating model across incidents, minor changes, and large projects
  • Design and govern end-to-end Azure public and hybrid cloud solutions, focusing on landing zones and security
  • Translate business needs into secure, resilient technical designs aligned with future-focused technology roadmaps
  • Lead a current-state assessment and future-state uplift for an enterprise-wide monitoring landscape
  • Build, automate, and maintain Azure infrastructure while providing technical leadership and mentoring
  • Hands-on involvement in technical design, configuration, and troubleshooting for complex security programs
  • Support core routing, QoS design, and MPLS implementation for major transformation projects
  • Elicit and translate technical and operational needs into clear requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience delivering network upgrades or infrastructure transformation within structured governance frameworks
  • Strong flow management (WIP limits, ageing WIP) and experience linking capacity-based planning to sprint scope
  • Proven ability to improve predictability and stabilise delivery cadence in mixed ops/project environments
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification and hands-on expertise with IaaS/PaaS services
  • Experience with data centre facilities, hybrid cloud platforms, and architecture governance (AAB)
  • Deep knowledge of observability principles across SIEM, network, and cloud-native platforms
  • Proficiency in Terraform, PowerShell/Python, AKS/Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
  • 5+ years in SecOps with expertise in Zscaler, FirePower, Palo Alto, and Azure security services
  • 5+ years in core routing (BGP, OSPF, MPLS), Cisco DNAC, and network automation (Ansible/Python)
  • Experience developing large, complex business cases and managing requirements traceability
