Job Responsibility

  • Own and drive the design and evolution of infrastructure automation and IaC capabilities across cloud and on-prem environments
  • design, build, and maintain scalable automation solutions for provisioning, configuration management, and lifecycle operations
  • define and promote automation standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks across infrastructure domains
  • act as a technical authority and escalation point for infrastructure automation and orchestration
  • integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to enable consistent, repeatable infrastructure deployments
  • partner with infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps teams to align automation strategy and execution
  • provide technical mentorship and guidance to technical staff, ensuring high engineering and operational standards
  • drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reliability, and resource optimization

Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in senior automation, DevOps, or cloud engineering roles
  • degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code and automation at enterprise scale
  • strong hands-on experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD platforms)
  • solid expertise in Linux-based environments, open-source tooling, and virtualization/container platforms
  • experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) and hybrid infrastructure environments
  • strong understanding of networking, security, and performance considerations in automated systems
  • demonstrated ability to lead through influence, mentor engineers, and collaborate across teams
  • fluent in English and French, both written and spoken

Nice to have

  • Cloud, DevOps and related software tool certifications
  • experience operating platforms in large, regulated, or safety-critical enterprises
  • prior infrastructure experience as a Platform Lead, Principal Engineer, or Architecture-focused technical leader
