A large, complex enterprise organisation is undertaking a significant technology transformation program and is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solution Architect to support multiple critical infrastructure initiatives. This role requires a strong foundation in traditional infrastructure architecture, paired with contemporary experience across cloud, identity, and observability, operating in highly regulated and distributed environments.
Job Responsibility:
Provide architectural leadership across several parallel initiatives
Architecture and uplift of directory services and endpoint management platforms (e.g. Active Directory, SCCM or equivalent)
Design and implement secure “follow-me” print solutions using Papercut, integrated with identity and access management frameworks
Define and deliver a comprehensive observability strategy to improve system reliability, performance, and operational insight
Leverage modern monitoring platforms such as Elastic
Provide solution architecture across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments
Ensure alignment with security, data sovereignty, and compliance requirements
Develop and maintain high-quality architecture artefacts including solution designs, standards, and roadmaps
Partner with infrastructure, cloud, security, and operations teams to guide delivery
Engage senior stakeholders to support informed architectural decision-making
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Infrastructure Solution Architect within large, complex enterprise environments
Strong background in pre-cloud / traditional infrastructure, with experience evolving environments to cloud-based architectures
Hands-on experience with Active Directory, SCCM (or equivalent endpoint management tools)
Experience designing and delivering Papercut secure print solutions
Strong experience in monitoring and observability, ideally using Elastic
Solid understanding of security, compliance, and data sovereignty principles
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
