Job Description:

You’ll join an established team responsible for hardware and software fulfilment across the Society, and performing troubleshooting activities to find appropriate resolutions to user incidents and problems. This role will support the development of our device lifecycle management roadmap, ensuring that end user hardware is maintained and refreshed in line with our definitions.

Job Responsibility:

Hardware and software fulfilment across the Society
Performing troubleshooting activities to find appropriate resolutions to user incidents and problems
Support the development of our device lifecycle management roadmap
Ensuring end user hardware is maintained and refreshed
Onboarding of new devices into the CMDB and Asset Register
Building and configuring new devices
Provisioning of new devices to our Colleagues
Preparing old devices for decommissioning with our third party
Support with individual user requirements such as troubleshooting issues with new hardware
Working with stakeholders from across the business and specialist teams within CIDO
Influence and build process improvements

Requirements:

Microsoft product knowledge and experience including: Windows 11
Teams
OneDrive
Office 365
BitLocker
SCCM (Task sequences
Device management
Applications and deployments (Desirable))
Intune (Device management)
Active Directory
ServiceNow (Desirable)
Fast learner
Able to pivot and adapt to business needs
Eye for detail
Growth mindset
Excellent face to face communication skills
Ability to translate technical IT descriptions to non-technical colleagues
