Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Greer, South Carolina. This role involves managing and optimizing IT systems and networks, ensuring seamless operations across data centers and cloud environments. The position requires a strong technical skill set and an ability to address networking and system challenges effectively.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee the transition and setup of two data centers, ensuring optimal connectivity and storage configurations
  • Implement and maintain cloud security measures, including multifactor authentication and Azure security profiles
  • Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Active Directory environments
  • Monitor and address intermittent network speed issues to maintain consistent system performance
  • Manage server virtualization using VMware, ensuring reliable and efficient operations
  • Configure and support networking equipment, including the migration from Meraki to Ubiquity
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to spam filtering and email security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute IT projects within established timelines
  • Conduct regular system audits to identify vulnerabilities and optimize infrastructure
  • Provide technical expertise for data center operations and maintenance

Requirements

  • VMWare expert desired, comfortable with administration, maintenance, updates, and overhaul of VMWare instance
  • Proven experience with Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365 administration
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and operations
  • Hands-on expertise with VMware server virtualization
  • Familiarity with network equipment, including Meraki and Ubiquity
  • Knowledge of cloud security protocols and multifactor authentication
  • Ability to troubleshoot networking issues and optimize system performance
  • Experience with spam filtering and email security solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
