Job Description

The Infrastructure Accounting Team drives Meta’s global infrastructure investments. As the company continues to expand, this is an exciting opportunity for those interested in helping us build and scale. This role is ideal for anyone seeking to accelerate their learning and contribute to innovative projects. You will support Meta’s Infrastructure Supply Chain by managing end-to-end accounting processes and operationalizing new accounting programs. This position is essential for ensuring accurate financial reporting and delivering accounting guidance to cross-functional teams, all while adapting to the company’s rapid growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage end-to-end accounting processes and operationalize any new accounting program to support Infrastructure Supply Chain
  • Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams to understand broader business objectives and provide accounting guidance
  • Interpret and apply accounting standards to new and ongoing agreements for accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare accounting memos and communicate conclusions to cross-functional teams
  • Manage key SOX controls and provide input for audits by business partners, internal auditors, and external auditors
  • Implement IT solutions in the subject areas
  • Lead special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Audit experience and CPA
  • 6+ years of accounting related experience
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Technical and operational knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Experience in optimizing or designing new and existing processes
  • Experience in working with a range of colleagues and partners

Nice to have

  • Experience with Oracle Financials and Hyperion Essbase
  • Experience in system implementation to support fast-growing business
