As infotainment expert, own functions (nav, speech, etc.) for Japan market Group brands. Accompany functions in German product development from concept to verification/release.

Job Responsibility

  • As infotainment expert, own functions (nav, speech, etc.) for Japan market Group brands
  • Accompany functions in German product development from concept to verification/release
  • Ensure functions are tailor-made products Japanese customers love, adapting from European-developed base
  • Act as primary technical contact for Japan market questions
  • Handle daily requests (specs, tests, bugs) for HQ
  • Support German dev team in testing/validating functions
  • Track issues and communicate with German engineers for fixes
  • Handle local language topics: text translation, speech dialog, TTS, input method
  • Manage translation delivery and bug fixes

Requirements

  • Experience in engineering or HMI-related job
  • Working experience in area of software and/or in the automotive industry
  • Experience in Infotainment testing, Navigation testing is highly appreciated
  • Experience in translation, handling TTS engine, development of speech dialog system
  • BA or equivalent
  • English: advanced level
  • Japanese: Native only
  • High technical affinity
  • High interest in cars and automotive industry
  • Ability to take customers’ perspective
  • Expert knowledge or experience of general automotive or software technology
  • Experience in Reading, writing and working with technical specification for automotive requirements
