Job Description:

As Infosec Advisor, you will be the source of security information for Adevinta Marketplaces and for the central Adevinta Infosec team. You will work on threat modelling, audits, policy evaluation, tool evaluation, and a variety of other subjects related to security. You will interact with stakeholders in the Marketplace and ensure the delivery of the central Infosec services to the Marketplace, ensuring quality and impact of the service delivery, involving yourself in their projects, and representing the Marketplace interests to the rest of the Infosec Tribe.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be the source of security information for Adevinta Marketplaces and central Adevinta Infosec team
  • Work on threat modelling, audits, policy evaluation, tool evaluation, and other security-related subjects
  • Interact with stakeholders in the Marketplace
  • Ensure delivery of central Infosec services to the Marketplace, ensuring quality and impact of service delivery
  • Involve yourself in their projects
  • Represent the Marketplace interests to the rest of the Infosec Tribe
  • Fulfil role of subject-matter expert for one or several fields of information security
  • Support Infosec Partners who interface with different Adevinta Marketplaces
  • Conduct deep analysis of different subjects, handle projects, collate information, assist with incidents, and recommend actions based on expertise and knowledge of Adevinta Infosec policies
  • At high seniority, assist in shaping Adevinta Infosec Policies
  • Report to Infosec Advisor Manager

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesise complex data into actionable insights
  • Passion for security
  • Expertise in at least one and preferably several of: Threat modelling, Information security auditing, AWS security architecture, Web application security, Secure coding
  • Fundamental knowledge of Information Security and applicable industry frameworks/regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, OWASP, GDPR)
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (preferably AWS) and their security implications
  • Ability to adapt to different and changing circumstances
  • Deal with problems by taking ownership and collaborating with others
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Comfortable in a multicultural environment
