Job Responsibility:
Empower teams so they can operate with a high degree of autonomy and self-organization, and deliver to business priorities
Manage your team and their deliverables, including projections for future needs, to ensure alignment with organizational goals
Work with team members to manage work priorities, facilitate skill assignments, and address people actions in order to maintain high performing work teams
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships on a global scale with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Manage technical debt to ensure products get and stay ahead of the technology obsolescence curve
Identify, recruit, develop, engage, and retain team talent
Requirements:
5+ years of experience leading or managing multi-disciplined technical teams
5+ years of experience in working with agile teams and agile software development
5+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and/or support IT project plans and schedules
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience with software startup
Experience with agile software development
Experience engaging with senior leadership, technical team members, and external stakeholders
Experience tying daily work to larger
Experience identifying the right skills for the right projects
Experience with working closely with Human Resource and Staffing to grow and develop a highly functional team
