Job Description

The Information Technology (IT) Release Manager III is a strategic leader and subject matter expert responsible for the end-to-end management of IT change control, and software releases across multiple environments. This position oversees the planning, scheduling, and deployment of software releases, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project timelines. The Release Manager III develops and maintains comprehensive release documentation and metrics, driving continuous improvement in release practices through data-driven insights and analysis of key performance indicators (KPI). This position involves proactive risk management, ensuring potential issues are identified and addressed promptly. As a leader and mentor, the Release Manager III guides junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. By aligning release activities with strategic objectives, this position plays a critical role in driving the success and growth of the organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in release management processes
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive release calendars, plans, and documentation
  • Create and oversee KPIs and metrics

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Related Field
  • At least 6 years of experience in strategic release planning and execution
  • At least 6 years of experience managing release plans
  • At least 6 years of experience in process optimization
  • At least 6 years of experience implementing best practices and tools
  • At least 6 years of experience in stakeholder communication
  • Experience in risk management
  • Experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in leading teams
  • Expert in planning, coordinating, and deploying software releases
