Job Description

Market sales Technology is going through several transformational technology initiatives and is looking for Automation Tester to join the global Testing Center of Excellence. This role is based in Pune but it is part of a virtual team with other team members based in the US and India.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team for quality assurance
  • Perform end to end automation testing of application including requirements understanding, test planning, test script development, test execution, results analysis and sign off, manage test data
  • Work with multiple teams to develop, and execute automation testing (sanity and regression)
  • Work with regional and functional business managers, application managers, regional production support managers, vendor resources and project team leads to outline service agreements, test plans, environment scheduling, approve test scripts, report metrics, etc
  • Work with teams in a collaborative style to engage partners and proactively manage activities
  • Be adaptive and ready to learn modern ways of testing and development

Requirements

  • At least 9+ years’ experience as Senior development Engineer in Test with following technologies: Selenium with Java-BDD Framework, REST API, SQL/Oracle, REST Assured, Dev Ops tools, Docker, Java Script
  • Experience in Performance evaluation and testing with tools like JMeter, Load Runner
  • Should have experience in designing and developing automation frameworks. Exposure to frameworks like TestNG, Cucumber, cypress
  • Experience on JAVA, JUNIT/TESTNG, TeamCity/Jenkins, Postman, Bit Bucket, JIRA, OpenShift, JMeter, Load Runner etc
  • Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver and Selenium Grid, implementing the Page Object Model (POM) and Model-View-Controller (MVC) design patterns
  • Exposure to API testing platforms like swagger and Postman
  • Solid understanding of database testing with proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data validation in SQL/Oracle environments
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively interact with web elements
  • Multiple years of experience on managing software development projects using Agile or Scrum methodologies
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Shell scripting)
  • Should have exposure in validating AI/ML platforms, including embedding based retrieval systems and building automation framework for accuracy and correctness
  • Utilize containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (OpenShift) to create and manage efficient testing environments
  • Familiarity with cloud-native platforms like OpenShift, Jenkins
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
  • Good to have experience in BI tools like Tableau, QlikView
  • Good to have Performance testing and mobile testing exposure
