Job Description

The IT Quality Analyst role entails supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), conducting process monitoring, ensuring documentation standards, monitoring conformance procedures and standards, performing root cause analyses, and creating reports on quality metrics. The candidate must exhibit solid knowledge of QA methodologies within the software development lifecycle and apply analytical thinking and problem-solving. The role directly impacts the business and requires clear communication and technical expertise.

Job Responsibility

  • Supports initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production
  • testing specialists who work with technology project managers, UAT professionals, and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for an application testing strategy/approach
  • conducts a variety of moderately complex process monitoring, product evaluation and audit assignments
  • ensures project standards and procedures exist, are fully clearly documented and followed throughout the software development lifecycle
  • monitors products for conformance to standards
  • monitors processes for conformance to procedures
  • documents findings and performs preliminary root causes analyses to provide recommended improvements
  • ensures all corrective actions are assigned, documented, and completed
  • verifies traceability in project work products
  • gathers, maintains and creates reports on quality metrics
  • exhibits understanding of procedures and concepts within own technical area
  • makes evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information
  • resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions through technical application

Requirements

  • 3-5 years Quality Assurance (QA) experience in the Financial Service industry preferred
  • strong experience using QA Automation tools like Selenium for both UI & API Automation using Java
  • exposure to playwright and CI/CD Integration with Jenkins/OpenShift
  • proficient in building Automation frameworks from Scratch & strong skillset in Java
  • demonstrable knowledge of Core Java, SQL
  • required Technical skills: Java, TypeScript, DBMS, GIT, Bitbucket, JIRA
  • understanding of QA within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
  • understanding of Quality Processes
  • ability to identify, communicate and document requirement discrepancies
  • understanding of QA processes
  • demonstrated logical analysis skills, attention to detail and problem-solving
  • ability to work to deadlines
  • clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
