Job Description:

As IT Partner you provide professional and high quality service to all business units in site including IT & systems support, trainings, office equipment standards and operations. You lead implementation of digital solutions and contribution in global IT projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform and manage planned activities, such as IT installations, upgrades, local rebuilds and maintenance activities according to agreed goals, defined strategies, budget and overall IT investments
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine monitoring to ensure continuous uptime of the onsite IT infrastructure
  • Take necessary decisions and actions to solve issues, as well as priorities issues according to business needs in close co-operation with the global Single Point of Contact (Helpdesk)
  • Perform all daily tasks according to set procedures, rules and guidelines and ensure that they are aligned within the organization and secure IT communication towards co-workers on site
  • Provide technical training for onsite support staff and for new hires, including setting up and introducing technical equipment (e.g., laptops)
  • Act as a Digital Workplace ambassador on site
  • For local IT security in close co-operation with risk management and information security
  • Take proactive approach towards possible risks and opportunities in the area of IT and act as a subject matter expert in this field
  • Monitor the development of IT technologies and system trends and evaluate their possible business benefits
  • Manage relationships with Inter IKEA IT, vendors, contractors, service providers and other stakeholders regarding support, upgrades, bug reporting, change requests, etc. when needed
  • Continuously work with improvements and actively participate in applicable Workplace Operation Network
