Job Responsibility

  • Plan, implement, control seamless plant internal/external communication, overall system reliability, and integrity, to support continuous Just-in-Sequence (JIS) plant production, and plant and worker security and safety
  • Manage and coordinate IT infrastructure and systems supporting mechatronic systems (carrier doors, air gate systems for cooling, window regulators) manufacturing plant
  • Plan, improve, and set common standards for Brose Spartanburg Plant IT technologies, from initial organization and planning to implementation of current/new IT technologies, and including performing development, installation, maintenance, support, and technical improvement of large scale mechatronic systems manufacturing plant computerized Management Information Systems (MIS), platforms, software, hardware (switches, routers/telecommunication equipment, performance testers), databases, virtual servers (Windows/Linux), and physical servers (VMware host)
  • Support JIS process sequencing, EDI communication, customer/supplier data integrity and provide integration with internal manufacturing execution systems (MES)

Requirements

  • Twenty-four months’ experience as IT Analyst, IT Supervisor or related, improving and setting common standards for plant IT technologies
  • experience performing development and support of mechatronic systems manufacturing plant Management Information Systems (MIS), hardware (routers/telecommunication equipment), virtual servers (Windows/Linux), and physical servers (VMware host), or related
