Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in the daily operations of the Information Technology department, ensuring efficient system performance
  • Provide timely and professional technical support to staff and hotel guests, resolving hardware, software, and network issues
  • Manage and respond to help desk tickets in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner
  • Support system administration tasks, including user account management, access control, configuration, and documentation
  • Maintain and support desktop systems, applications, and regular patch/update processes
  • Monitor and support server infrastructure, including performance, upgrades, OS patching, and troubleshooting
  • Help ensure continuous operation of critical hotel systems (e.g., PMS, POS, network, telephony, and internet services)
  • Assist in maintaining IT security standards, including PCI compliance, antivirus protection, and access controls
  • Support network infrastructure, including wired/wireless networks, Active Directory, firewalls, and failover systems
  • Provide technical support for meetings, events, conference rooms, and guest-facing technology services
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers for IT services, support, and issue resolution
  • Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, property rollouts, and new technology implementations
  • Train and support users on systems, applications, and IT best practices
  • Maintain professional relationships across departments while upholding company standards, policies, and service levels

Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. This may include some evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical role
  • Prior experience in a luxury hospitality highly preferred
  • Knowledge of desktop operating systems, enterprise applications, and basic server environments
  • Experience or familiarity with computer networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and network infrastructure) preferred
  • Understanding of IT security practices, compliance standards (including PCI), and system availability requirements
  • Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs minimum continuously throughout the day
  • Stand and walk 8 hours per day
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States

  • Experience or familiarity with computer networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and network infrastructure)
