Job Description:

As an Information Security Specialist at IKEA, you will lead security assessments, provide information security advice, help implement controls, document risk-related activities, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves collaboration with teams across Inter IKEA and promoting IKEA’s values.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead assessments to support digital product and platform teams to identify and mitigate their information security and data privacy risks, such as business impact analyses, digital risk assessments, third party assessments and AI assessments
  • Advise digital product and platform teams to implement information security controls
  • Leverage digital risk control frameworks and recommend tailored solutions
  • Document engagements with digital product and platform teams to support digital risk management and reporting
  • Support processes to ensure Inter IKEA Group adheres to internal and external (regulatory) requirements and standards
  • Act as an ambassador of IKEA values, promoting collaboration, innovation, and a positive work culture

Requirements:

  • Have 3+ years of relevant knowledge, and hands-on experience in information security, data privacy and IT risk management
  • Have hands-on experience with modern and emerging technologies, such as the major cloud platforms and artificial intelligence
  • Have experience navigating in complex global organizations and adaptable in a highly dynamic organization setting
  • Experience in advising, consulting and guiding business and IT stakeholders on how to handle data securely across its lifecycle from creation and storage to use and disposal
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and data protection techniques
  • Be a natural facilitator and excellent communicator who can engage and motivate stakeholders
  • Have a pragmatic approach towards problem-solving
  • Be comfortable with agile methodologies and have experience in a product-oriented organization
  • Have excellent command of the English language with the ability to cater to non-native audiences
