Job Description:

ProFocus Technology is partnering with a mission-driven financial services company in Portland to hire a skilled Identity & Access Management Engineer for their growing Information Security team. This is a hands-on engineering role — not an analyst position — focused on configuring, integrating, and advancing best-in-class IAM and PAM platforms in a regulated financial services environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Configure, manage, and upgrade IAM and PAM platforms at an engineering level
  • Develop integrations between identity platforms and enterprise systems using scripting
  • Support and maintain SSO integrations using SAML and OIDC protocols
  • Configure and manage privileged accounts, safes, and access policies in PAM tooling
  • Implement and monitor InfoSec programs and controls across the organization
  • Run vulnerability scans, phishing simulations, and risk assessments
  • Monitor intrusion detection and prevention systems and respond to alerts
  • Collaborate with IT, business teams, and leadership on security initiatives
  • Communicate security strategies and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Information Security experience OR 6+ years in Information Systems
  • Hands-on engineering experience with one or more of: CyberArk, Okta, SailPoint
  • Experience integrating applications with SSO using SAML or OIDC
  • Scripting ability to support platform-to-platform integrations
  • CEH, OSCP, PenTest+, or SC-200 certification — or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire
  • Local to Portland, OR
  • Authorization to work in the US

Nice to have:

  • Financial services or banking background
  • Familiarity with zero-trust security frameworks
  • Experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (SaaS) or Identity IQ (on-prem)
