Job Description

We are looking for an IT Security Specialist to join a team. This position is ideal for a security specialist who can strengthen employee awareness. The analyst will focus on managing and utilizing security awareness training tools and resources to train users and intensely raise security awareness across the organization. The ideal candidate should possess a combination of soft skills and technical skills and have experience training and communicating with users at all levels.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and manage security awareness initiatives, including phishing exercises and role-based education programs that improve employee decision-making
  • Develop engaging security communications such as training materials, brief advisories, and internal updates that encourage safe practices across the business
  • Interpret threat information and convert technical findings into practical guidance for business stakeholders and end users
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the organization’s security culture and recommend actions that improve risk awareness and response readiness
  • Work with relevant tools and platforms in areas such as data privacy, database security, cyber governance, and file protection to support broader security objectives

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity, with exposure to security operations, awareness programs, or both
  • Hands-on experience with phishing simulation tools, security awareness platforms, or similar end-user education technologies
  • Experience running and managing Security Awareness tools such as KnowBe4 to conduct phishing exercises as well as managing spam and phishing emails
  • Experience developing security awareness content, including newsletters, PowerPoints, security tips, guidelines and other materials
  • Experience training, presenting and communicating with users at all levels
  • Experience developing security awareness training initiatives that reduce the risk of user behavior / insider threat
  • Experience with threat intelligence, conducting threat research and documenting threat/vulnerability briefings for leadership
