Job Description

Full-time Information Management Coordinator position available in Maddington WA 6109. WEST-TEST Pty Ltd is a Western Australian NATA-accredited construction materials testing provider delivering high-quality concrete, soil, and aggregate testing services for civil, commercial and infrastructure projects across WA. The business supports engineers, builders and project managers with accurate, reliable and timely test data essential for safe and compliant project delivery. To maintain high standards of data integrity and operational efficiency across multiple project sites, WEST-TEST requires a dedicated Information Management Coordinator. This role is responsible for maintaining testing records, managing document workflows, coordinating data movement between sites, and supporting field and laboratory teams with accurate operational information. The position is essential to ensuring smooth, compliant and timely materials-testing operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain accurate testing records, sampling logs and project documentation, ensuring timely submission of results to engineers and supervisors for analysis and reporting
  • Collect, verify and transfer concrete and materials testing data between multiple project sites across WA, ensuring high standards of accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage operational information systems, including electronic filing structures, version control and document standardisation to support auditing and compliance requirements
  • Coordinate with site supervisors, foremen, engineers and field technicians to support smooth testing procedures, timely communications and adherence to project schedules
  • Follow strict on-site safety protocols and regulatory guidelines to ensure safe and compliant data collection, documentation handling and reporting practices
  • Manage logistical planning for sample data movement, scheduling and route optimisation across multiple testing locations to support operational efficiency
  • Prepare and update internal reports, testing summaries and procedural documentation, communicating key information to relevant stakeholders to support operational decision-making
  • Support continuous improvement of information management processes, recommending system and workflow enhancements to improve accuracy, efficiency and compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor qualification in Business, Information Management, Project Administration or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in information coordination, data management or administrative roles
  • Experience working in construction, engineering, laboratory services or field-based operations
  • Strong understanding of information management processes, documentation control and compliance requirements
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination capabilities
  • Ability to manage multi-site workflows, competing priorities and time-sensitive data tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, digital filing systems and operational documentation tools

Nice to have

  • Experience in civil construction, materials-testing environments or field sampling operations
  • Understanding of NATA requirements, WHS procedures and site documentation standards
  • Experience coordinating data between operational, field and engineering teams
  • Ability to support process improvement and documentation system optimisation
