Job Description

Join our client's team as an Information Governance Manager and play a key role in leading and strengthening IG practices across the organisation.

Job Responsibility

  • lead on information governance strategy, policy development, and compliance
  • oversee and redesign IG approval processes where required
  • liaise with external bodies including the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
  • provide expert guidance on data protection, confidentiality, and information security
  • deputise for the Head of Information Governance when required
  • work closely with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives

Requirements

  • CIPP/E qualification and other relevant Information Governance certifications
  • extensive experience in a senior IG role within the NHS or corporate environment
  • strong leadership and managerial experience at Band 8a level
  • proven experience in policy development and process improvement
  • ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
  • in-depth knowledge of UK data protection and information governance frameworks
