Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and technically adept Business Intelligence Manager to lead our Information Delivery Group (IDG) within Accordant’s AMS practice. This team designs, develops, and delivers financial and operational reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision-making for our clients and internal stakeholders. The Manager will oversee a team of Report Writers, BI Developers, and Analysts, ensuring the timely delivery of accurate, actionable reporting across multiple ERP platforms, including Sage Intacct, Sage 300 CRE, and Acumatica. This individual will balance hands-on technical leadership with strong people and project management, ensuring excellence in both delivery and client experience. The ideal candidate is both strategic and detail-oriented, capable of designing and implementing high-impact reporting solutions while mentoring a growing team and maintaining deep partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. This role will be a hands-on role. In the first 6 months, the Manager will lead delivery of our Power BI Reporting product, including report development, process and platform establishment, and team Power BI training.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of report writers, SQL developers, and BI specialists to deliver exceptional results
  • Establish priorities, allocate resources, and ensure on-time completion of client and internal projects
  • Implement and monitor processes for quality assurance, documentation, and version control across all deliverables

  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of custom financial and operational reports using Sage Intacct, Sage 300 CRE, Acumatica BI tools, Power BI Customer Embedded and Power BI TMDL
  • Provide architectural guidance on data replication, SQL integration, and multi-ERP data strategies
  • Ensure alignment of report outputs with business objectives, compliance requirements, and month/quarter-end cycles
  • Drive innovation in reporting through automation, data visualization, and advanced analytics
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders and client partners regarding information delivery needs
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and Business Operations leaders to define priorities, scope projects, and align reporting solutions with organizational goals

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in financial or business intelligence reporting
  • 3+ years in a leadership or managerial capacity
  • Proven experience with Sage Intacct, Sage 300 CRE, or comparable ERP systems
  • Strong proficiency with SQL, Crystal Reports, and Power BI (or equivalent BI tools)
  • Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting fundamentals
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience in client-facing environments
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver high-quality work under deadlines
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US or Canada

  • Experience managing teams serving clients in the construction or professional services industries
  • Familiarity with Sage Intacct platform services (Smart Rules, Smart Events, Custom Objects)
