Job Description

This Contract to permanent position offers the opportunity to play a key role in optimizing ERP processes, ensuring system alignment with business needs, and supporting users across multiple departments. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in manufacturing systems and a passion for improving operational efficiency.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure consistent and accurate utilization of ERP systems across supported sites
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and standardized ERP processes
  • Provide first-line functional support for ERP users, resolving issues and answering inquiries
  • Develop and refine operational and financial reports to support business decisions
  • Create and maintain detailed training materials and documentation for ERP users
  • Deliver ERP training programs across departments and assist with onboarding new employees
  • Identify inefficiencies or outdated system customizations and recommend process improvements
  • Support testing, validation, and user acceptance during ERP upgrades and projects
  • Partner with corporate IT teams and external consultants to implement ERP changes
  • Promote simplified and disciplined ERP usage to enhance data integrity and reporting consistency

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of ERP experience within a manufacturing environment - particularly with Infor ERP and AS/400 mainframe
  • Strong understanding of assembly-to-order processes and related workflows
  • Experience providing support to production, supply chain, and finance teams
  • Proven ability to collaborate on-site with operational teams to meet business goals
  • Prior involvement in ERP upgrade projects is preferred
  • Proficiency in analytical, reporting, and documentation practices
  • Proven experience with SQL and RPG Scripting
  • Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
