We are looking for an Influencer Director to join our growing Influence team. This is a team of brand thinkers with a deep passion for social because it’s where culture and audience insights take off. This is a client facing role for someone who lives to solve business problems through collaboration. Creative briefs are their love language and slides make them happy. This pivotal role drives strategy and executes excellence across national and global accounts for high-profile brands, demanding strategic foresight, operational leadership, and continuous innovation. The Influencer Director will lead influencer and creator strategy and growth for a client portfolio, overseeing campaign planning, execution, measurement, and reporting.
Job Responsibility:
Own and grow a defined portfolio of clients, leading strategy, execution, and growth across influencer partnerships
Drive innovative creator strategies, presentations and executions, collaborating closely with Creative and Editorial teams to develop compelling briefs and activate talent
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your client portfolio, collaborating with agency leadership
Lead and develop a team of Influencer Managers/Coordinators, setting clear expectations, offering guidance, and fostering accountability
Oversee comprehensive campaign planning, execution, measurement, and reporting, ensuring timely, on-budget, high-quality delivery of multi-platform programs
Scope influencer programs, contributing to detailed resource planning across timelines and budgets
Maintain an expert-level understanding of emerging social trends, platforms, technologies, and creators within the Canadian market
Actively engage in industry forums, discussions, and thought leadership, contributing to the discourse around creators, content, and the future of the creator economy
Champion creative, out-of-the-box approaches to integrating talent into brand campaigns
Requirements:
7 -10 years experience in a creative agency or brand environment working in social
Articulate and able to present confidently to both clients and internal team
A curiosity for the brightest and best in social, and translating this into brilliant creative and editorial executions
Someone obsessed with the internet and how online culture shapes the world around us
Natural curiosity and understanding of consumer behaviours and mindset in social
Nice to have:
Traditional agency experience is not required, but it’s a plus
