Job Description:

Analyze and report compliance of airline product team against key performance metrics and annual budgets. Working closely with business partners to create a value focused team with access to accurate pricing information. Report to Inflight Product & Performance Manager and ensure stakeholders provide pricing information according to department processes.

Job Responsibility:

Pricing Data Management: Ensure global suppliers provide accurate pricing information in coordination with the culinary team
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports and presentations on pricing performance and strategy
Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools to evaluate pricing performance and identify improvement opportunities
Supplier Engagement: Act as subject matter expert during pricing discussions at menu design and selection
Financial Performance Monitoring: Monitor financial performance of catering cost base and collaborate with finance team on budgeting
Supplier Management: Support procurement department in market activities, contract negotiations, and dispute resolutions

Requirements:

Advanced skills in Excel for financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting
Proficiency in analysing large datasets to identify trends and insights
Strong numerical and analytical skills to interpret complex data
Familiarity with pricing tools and software like Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools
Understanding financial metrics to assess the financial impact of pricing strategies
Ability to clearly articulate pricing strategies and financial insights to stakeholders
Strong critical thinking skills to address pricing and financial challenges
Ensuring accuracy in data analysis and financial reporting
