The Industry Solutions Architect role focuses on leading complex solution designs in the intelligent manufacturing sector. This role is pivotal in shaping and delivering industry-specific, cross-functional solutions that align with client needs and our portfolio of offerings. They will be responsible for crafting compelling, scalable, and technically sound solutions that integrate frontier technologies with traditional enterprise systems and bridge cross-functional offerings into cohesive, client-ready solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the end-to-end solutioning of complex, multi-disciplinary deals across technology, service lines, and technology practices e.g. Cloud, Data & AI, Security, Consulting, Finance, App Dev etc.
Collaborate with business development teams to understand client needs, pain points, and strategic goals
Design customized solution architectures that align with client objectives and leverage our full suite of offerings
Develop pricing models, delivery frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies
Align commercial terms with solution architecture
Support contract structuring and negotiation
Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders during pre-sales and solutioning phases
Conduct client workshops and discussions showcasing AI-enabled manufacturing use cases (e.g., predictive maintenance, quality control, supply chain optimization) and apply knowledge of manufacturing processes (discrete, process, and hybrid manufacturing)
Support client presentations, workshops, and orals with clear articulation of value propositions
Bring deep industry knowledge to inform solution design, including regulatory, operational, and competitive landscapes
Ensure solution integrity, scalability, and cost optimization
Mitigate delivery risks through robust architecture and governance frameworks
Identify and integrate industry-specific accelerators, frameworks, and IP into proposals
Contribute to the development of reusable assets, templates, and playbooks for industry solutioning
Champion adoption of AI, IoT, Digital Twins, robotics, and industrial metaverse in solution architectures as and when required
Stay updated on emerging technologies (AI (computer vision for defect detection, generative AI for design optimization, edge AI for real-time decisions etc.), GenAI, IoT, cloud, edge computing, networking, IT/OT convergence etc.) and their application in industry contexts
Requirements:
15+ years of experience in solution architecture, consulting, or pre-sales roles
Proven track record of solutioning large, complex deals in one or more of the target industries
Experience in crafting RFP/RFI responses and client-specific solution presentations
Strong understanding of manufacturing industry value chain, trends, transformation drivers, and operational challenges
Experience with integrating and implementing – one or more of MES/MOM, SCADA, PLC/DCS, CMMS, APM, UNS and other Manufacturing Technology solutions
Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and edge computing for end user and plant-level solutions
Experience with implementing distributed manufacturing solutions, including those on hyperscalers and advanced understanding technology solution architecture design for full stack manufacturing solutions
Experience working with cross-functional teams across geographies and service lines
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Exposure to OT, Industry 4.0, AI/ML frameworks, GenAI, IoT, digital twins, computer vision, robotics and industry automation technologies
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
