Industry Liaison Officer - Sport & Public Services

• Securing and managing industry work placement opportunities for students
• Acting as the primary liaison between employers, students and college teams
• Supporting the planning and delivery of employer engagement activities, including employer events and student workplace visits
• Ensuring employer documentation is completed and returned in line with college processes and national expectations
• Working with students on a one-to-one and small group basis to identify employability skills gaps
• Supporting students to develop their skills, confidence and workplace behaviours to achieve successful placements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Highly organised and able to prioritise workload effectively
• Can apply a flexible and responsive approach to work demands
• Demonstrates an inquisitive and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently using their own initiative, as well as collaboratively as part of a team
• A Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject is desirable
• Relevant sector experience and a willingness to work towards a Level 3 qualification will be considered
• Experience in this field and a passion for supporting young people to develop their employability skills and progress into industry
