Working as Part-time Industrial Services Development Support, you will be involved in a variety of tasks that help manage and grow our Industrial Services offering and sales to Fastenal's end users. You will be directly responsible for the management of specific customer programs facilitated through Industrial Services, including asset management program data, sales, participation, usage data, and cost savings information. In addition, you will work on various program management details such as price file updates, part-numbering projects, as well as running and analyzing production data. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.
Job Responsibility:
Managing customer asset data using asset management software
Providing end user sales and usage reporting
Providing inside sales support for customer programs through Industrial Services
Supporting Industrial Services Sales Specialists and their customers with sales reporting needs
Supporting Fastenal customers with costs savings documentation by preparing, analyzing, and calculating savings data
Facilitating sales orders through the system in a quick and efficient manner
Influencing business results by providing proactive customer service, education, and communication
Reviewing, researching, and recommending resolutions for non-standard inquires
Facilitating warranty repair process with supported manufacturers, processing claims, and following up on credits
Participating in special projects and assignments as necessary
Requirements:
Possess or are working towards a degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or other related field of study OR have at least 1 year of equivalent work experience
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
Mechanically inclined and possess industry and product knowledge
Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Work independently as well as in a team environment
