An opportunity for an Industrial robotics and tooling engineer has arisen within Airbus, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Tooling & Robotics team. Tooling & Robotics department is in charge of deploying the new manufacturing and assembly lines in Getafe Plant. Currently embarked on the A320 and A350 ramp up, the opportunity to join this journey is to experience from the beginning what is to industrialize an aeronautical assembly line. The team is multicultural, we embrace diversity, and is in contact with many other departments such as Production, Programmes, Procurement, H&S, Maintenance… The jobholder will reinforce our HTP Team, working on Jigs & Tools and Machines & Automation of HTP A320, A330 and A350.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and lead the E2E activities for the industrialization of new industrial means
Be technical responsible for the solution implemented ensuring stakeholder’s needs are fulfilled
Support maintenance and production departments with technical expertise to ensure the reliability of the means
Deliver safe, ergonomic and smart maintainable means to production focus on I4.0
Support all the program activities for the industrial means parts including master and detailed planning, proposals, CapEx, budgets
Define concepts and modifications to fulfill all the requirements from all related functions
Use of CAD (CATIA v5) to create concepts, analysis for GD&T
Create technical specifications for different industrial means ranging from simple tools to complex autonomous systems
Lead call for tenders managing, evaluating and selecting suppliers technically speaking
Manage the different milestones of the means acquisition (KOM, PDR, CDR, CISS, CIPS and FA)
Assure the delivery of the industrial means in time, cost and quality
Manage suppliers to ensure OT, OQ, OC delivery of the assets
Give shop floor support on the first uses of the delivered means
Setup and commission new manufacturing/assembly stations
Attend concurrence engineering meetings to assure feasibility of industrialization and minimize its cost
Requirements:
Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline
At least 5 years in the domain (either Jigs & Tools or Automation & Robotics)
Advanced level in English
Advanced level of CATIA
Project management
