Job Description

The Industrial Relations team at Uber Australia is at the coalface of shaping the Future of Work. This role will be part of a team responsible for navigating a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape, engagement with the Fair Work Commission & unions and Work, Health and Safety consultation with delivery people.

Job Responsibility

  • Day to day management of the Uber Eats National Work, Health & Safety Committee
  • Assist in discussions with key stakeholders including Health & Safety Representatives and Unions
  • Respond to union enquiries
  • Partner with the Operations, Safety and Legal teams to coordinate the rolling out of key strategies and initiatives
  • Help manage Unfair Deactivation claims in the Fair Work Commission

Requirements

  • Commerce and /or Law Degree
  • Consistent track record of leading projects with a large set of stakeholders
  • Operational grit - the ability to work with high volume tasks

Nice to have

  • Experience dealing with Unions and/or Health & Safety Representatives on safety issues
  • Experience in dealing with Committees/Consultative groups on workplace matters (such as safety, conditions)
