Job Description:

A position for an Industrial Painter to supervise temporary staff, handle powder coating equipment, and maintain high product quality standards in a manufacturing environment. Growth and permanent placement opportunities offered.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise and provide direction for a team of temporary employees
operate powder coating equipment
apply high quality powder coating to small automotive parts
operate finishing oven for freshly coated parts
load parts onto racks to prepare them for paint
plan daily production schedule and assign tasks accordingly
provide a last line of defense for product quality before packing
receive raw products once weekly
prepare finished parts for shipping and use forklift to load finished skids into trucks
arrange for restock of supplies, contact contractors for mechanical issues with equipment
occasionally travel to parent facility to support another branch of the business

Requirements:

Legally entitled to work in Canada
2+ years' experience in powder coating equipment
at least one year of leadership experience in an industrial setting
valid driver's license
own reliable vehicle

Nice to have:

Forklift experience
experience in a fast-paced production environment
unwavering commitment to product quality
