Job Responsibility

  • Troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain all chemical plant mechanical equipment
  • Install and modify existing and new piping systems and lines
  • Execute preventive/corrective maintenance to all the site electronics / power distribution / electrical equipment / PLC
  • Automate and set up process-control systems
  • Create/Manage the instrument calibration and preventive programs for process and service equipment
  • Report potential failures in plant equipment
  • Carry out all activities according to EHS procedures and best practices
  • Project Development and basic engineering, material selection, instrument specifications, purchasing orders elaboration, cost comparatives, equipment and instrument implementation, adjustment and calibration as well as running them
  • Create/Maintain spare parts strategy and material for power, instrumentation and control equipment
  • Provide training to site technicians, operations and other personnel
  • Actively lead and support site safety initiatives, especially PSM
  • Provide off hour support for plant, as needed

Requirements

  • 5-10 years’ experience in two or more areas of industrial wiring, instrumentation maintenance, PLC maintenance, maintenance of 480V motors
  • Certified Electrician License, desired, or Electrical Engineering Degree
  • Basic Math
  • Microsoft Applications (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • SAP
