Job Description

We are looking for skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians and Flux Core Welders to be a part of our team for upcoming steel mill shutdowns. These shutdowns will be in various locations in March. If you are a dedicated, safety-conscious individual with a background in heavy industrial/construction work, we want you on our team!

Job Responsibility

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace equipment components
  • Ensure all systems operate efficiently during shutdown procedures
  • Work in compliance with safety standards and procedures
  • Perform high-quality Flux Core welding on steel structures
  • Work on shutdown repairs, fabrication, and maintenance projects
  • Ensure welds meet industry standards and specifications
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Flux Core Welder in an industrial setting
  • Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety procedures
  • Ability to work in challenging environments and tight deadlines
  • Certification in Flux Core Welding preferred
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull more than 60 pounds frequently
  • Must be able to climb heights in excess of 300 feet
  • Must be able to lift your own weight while climbing ladders, steel bracing, stairs, etc.
  • Must be able to crawl in small or tight places
  • Exposed to temperature fluctuations, dust, and noise
  • Must be able to be around high voltage electromagnetic fields
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for our company without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
