The Industrial Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading and managing all maintenance activities within the manufacturing facility to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment and plant infrastructure. This role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance programs, supervises maintenance personnel, ensures regulatory compliance, and partners with operations to minimize downtime and support production goals.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise, train, and develop maintenance technicians, mechanics, and contractors
Plan daily and weekly maintenance work assignments for maintenance staff
Ensure maintenance staff are properly trained and certified for assigned tasks
Promote and enforce a strong safety culture in compliance with OSHA and company standards
Ensure proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, and safe work practices are followed
Participate in safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action planning
Manage maintenance and repair of all production machinery, material handling systems, utilities, and building infrastructure
Oversee installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment
Service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial components such as motors, variable AC drives, PLCs, servos, sensors, and switches
Service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial pneumatic system components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, and solenoids
Perform tool offset corrections and position adjustments on multi-axis automated CNC equipment
Maintain required repair and work logs, SOP's, equipment manuals and compliance records
Prioritize repairs to meet efficiency and the needs of the production plant
Provide routine preventive upkeep on equipment and work with production personnel to maintain and improve quality
Work with production personnel to maintain and improve quality
Maintain regular and reliable attendance, arrive on time for scheduled shifts, and adhere to the company’s attendance policies and procedures

Requirements:
Technical degree or engineering background preferred
Minimum 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of electrical, electronic controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, cutting, welding, fabrication, and tooling
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure
Must be able to read and follow blueprints and schematics
Ability to troubleshoot equipment in all the aforementioned areas
Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer software programs
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
A strong understanding of mechanical systems, components, and machinery is essential, capable of diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
Proficiency in electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical controls, is critical for troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults
Firm understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is essential
A solid foundation in the use of various tools, equipment, and instruments, including hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic devices, is necessary
Be an effective problem solver, capable of identifying issues and implementing solutions in a timely manner
Perform routine inspections, create maintenance schedules, and carry out preventative maintenance tasks to extend the life of equipment is crucial
