Madison Berkeley have exclusively partnered with Glenny LLP to appoint an Associate level Commercial Agent into their highly established Industrial Agency team. This is an opportunity to join a respected and long standing regional consultancy that has built a dominant presence across the eastern half of London and the Home Counties. The team continues to grow in response to sustained instruction wins and increasing client demand across the industrial and logistics sector. Glenny operate a deliberately focused agency model, specialising exclusively in industrial and office property, with circa 95 percent of their work in the industrial sector. The business is landlord focused and transaction driven, offering agents genuine responsibility, strong market exposure and consistent deal flow within a supportive team structure. The industrial agency team currently manage around 10m sq ft of live instructions and have delivered 5.5m sq ft of take up over the last three years, representing a significant share of activity across their core markets. Current instructions include major logistics and development led portfolios, with several large scale schemes live and further phases planned over the coming years.

Job Responsibility

  • Leasing agency across industrial and logistics assets
  • End to end transaction management from instruction through to completion
  • Working closely with Lease Advisory colleagues
  • Occupier engagement and negotiations
  • Drafting and agreeing Heads of Terms
  • Acting directly for landlords developers and logistics operators
  • Supporting development led leasing instructions
  • Building and maintaining client relationships
  • Contributing to fee generation within a performance led team environment

Requirements

  • Proven industrial leasing experience preferred
  • Leasing focused rather than investment
  • Commercially minded and transaction driven
  • Comfortable operating within a structured team environment
  • Able to work autonomously while collaborating closely with colleagues
  • Based in or willing to be based within the region covered
  • Full driving licence required

Nice to have

Slightly more senior where there is strong transactional experience and relevant client exposure

  • Research and recommend innovative strategies and technologies that can drive performance and value to the portfolio.
  • Stay abreast of business and market trends and provide recommendations for expense savings and income opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal and external property management teams to review, approve, build and manage capital expenditures budgets for assets.
