Hybrid: This position requires you to work on-site 3 times a week (Tue to Thu). The selected candidate will be required to travel <25% for this role.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design Industrial Layouts for vehicle manufacturing processes, supplying materials and building installations and utilities
  • Support Layout Specialist/Engineer in scanning works in the manufacturing areas with Laser Scanner equipment and accessories
  • Implement automation solutions in material handling process (receiving, storage, sequencing, kitting, delivering)
  • Register, clean and reference Cloud of Points using softwares
  • Develop GVDP left side solutions (planning and development phase) with GPSC (logistic and containerization), ME Centers, Product Development, Manufacturing Operations and CCA peers, to improve total enterprise efficiency, mitigating impact and optimize overall performance of manufacturing process
  • Seek new technologies and implement ME process improvements aligned to virtualization initiatives
  • Capture information and measures in the Plants and elaborate "As Built" layouts in 3D for all kind of Process and areas

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree completed in Engineering
  • Knowledge of Autocad 2D and 3D, Factory Cad, Auto-Turn, Naviswork, NX, Cloud of Points Softwares
  • Experience as a CAD engineer, including setting objectives, managing results, and evaluating individual performance
  • Demonstrated understanding of plant floor and product design manufacturability
  • Manufacturing and/or GPSC (Supply Chain) assignments with successful individual achievements
  • English from intermediate level
  • Availability to travel and eventual weekend demands
  • Active CREA

Nice to have:

  • Spanish is desirable
  • Automation and data analytics tools (Power BI, Powerapps, Databricks)
