Job Description

At our Berlin site, our employees manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems. As part of our precision manufacturing operations, you support the production of optical components, assemblies and systems made from glass, glass‑ceramics and ceramics for high‑tech small‑batch, single‑part and prototype manufacturing. The Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) function creates the conditions for safe, healthy and sustainable working environments in our high‑tech manufacturing operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate occupational hygiene topics across departments and work closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct analyses to identify health hazards and implement preventive measures, particularly in cleanroom environments and regarding chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic exposures
  • Introduce, implement, continuously develop, and ensure hygiene, measurement, and evaluation standards for health surveillance
  • Define Similar Exposure Groups (SEGs) and plan and lead effective measurement campaigns and strategies
  • Support and contribute to risk assessments within the EHS team
  • Manage emergency preparedness, organize training sessions, and maintain and optimize emergency equipment, reporting chains, and instructions
  • Establish and maintain occupational hygiene and hazardous substances databases and use them as a basis for consulting, training coordination, and preventive measures

Requirements

  • Completed degree in chemistry, biology, chemical or process engineering, health management, or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in occupational health and safety with a focus on industrial hygiene
  • Interest in human health combined with technical understanding
