Job Responsibility
Lead, promote, and sustain Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing practices across the plant to instill a waste-elimination culture
Collaborate early with R&D, Process Development, and Equipment Engineering to ensure new products, processes, and equipment are ergonomically sound and optimized for efficiency
Provide technical guidance and leadership to manufacturing teams
facilitate project teams to eliminate bottlenecks and achieve site goals
Establish and maintain an up-to-date, verified database of standard times and engineering standard data through rigorous work measurement
Review facility layout change requests and propose optimal configurations. Partner with Facilities and Production teams to update plant layout drawings, strategically creating 'free space' to accommodate future production lines and volume scaling
Partner with the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) department to ensure all lean improvements are ergonomically sound and aligned with safety goals
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field
3 to 7 years of working experience in a similar fast-paced manufacturing environment (highly regulated industry experience is a plus)
Strong Industrial Engineering competencies combined with practical knowledge of production equipment operations and risk management
Demonstrated experience leading project teams, facilitating Kaizen events, or managing process improvement initiatives from conception to completion
High level of adaptability, coachability, and excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders across different departments
General knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standard business unit functions
ability to exercise sound judgment when interpreting company policies
