Job Responsibility:
To be enthusiastic about operational efficiency and driven by results
To carry out optimization and cost-cutting projects for our manufacturing clients
To analyze and optimize space. To design factories and warehouse layouts
To conduct feasibility studies, including a budget assessment, to determine the merits of prospective projects
To map business and manufacturing processes
To observe all stages of the manufacturing process and identify areas for improvement
To participate in time study projects, conduct analyses and define prescribed methods
To work closely with our customers’ production personnel and managers in order to implement improvements
To adhere to and put into practice Progima’s project management and execution methods
Requirements:
Strong ethics and commitment to clients’ and coworkers’ success
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to deliver high performance in a fast and fluid environment
Have an ease of approach and communication, and the ability to express ideas with persuasion
Constant initiative in the performance of tasks and responsibilities
Strong knowledge of Autocad 2D and Microsoft Office software
Have a strong sense of responsibility and accountability
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and/or Engineering
or any other related training or relevant experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required
PEO or P.Eng (from other Canadian provinces) designation
Nice to have:
Consulting experience
Certification/training: green or black belt
