Job Description:

We're partnering with a leading food manufacturing company to find a skilled Industrial Electrician to join their high-performing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting advanced electrical systems that keep production running safely and efficiently. Job Responsibility:

Maintain and Repair Equipment: Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in automated baking lines, ovens, conveyors, mixers, and packaging systems
Install and Upgrade Systems: Install new electrical components, panels, wiring, and control systems as the facility expands or upgrades technology
PLC & Automation Work: Program, monitor, and adjust PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces) that control the production process
Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure equipment runs efficiently and safely
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work meets electrical codes, food safety standards, and company safety protocols
Downtime Response: Quickly respond to equipment failures to minimize production downtime, especially during critical baking and packaging operations
Documentation: Keep accurate records of repairs, inspections, and modifications for compliance and future reference

Requirements:

442A Industrial Electrician
3-5 Years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food
Electrical maintenance, troubleshooting & repair skills
Ability to diagnose issues under pressure, communicate clearly with production teams, and document repairs
Experience in a facility with automated machinery is a plus
Familiarity with food industry regulations (like GMPs, HACCP, or SQF) and working in sanitary environments is a big plus
