Job Description:

Are you a Industrial Electrician or Maintenance Technician with experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry? Join a reputable food manufacturer in Mississauga, Ontario, and contribute to their maintenance team. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, system installation, PLC programming, and preventive maintenance.

Job Responsibility:

Troubleshoot & Repair
Diagnose and fix electrical issues in automated systems, including baking lines, ovens, mixers, conveyors, and packaging machinery
System Installation & Upgrades
Install electrical components, wiring, panels, and control systems for new equipment or facility expansions
PLC & HMI Maintenance
Program, monitor, and adjust PLCs and HMIs to support efficient and accurate process control
Preventive Maintenance
Regular inspections and maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance
Follow electrical codes, food safety regulations, and company safety procedures in all tasks
Respond promptly to electrical failures to minimize disruption during production
Record all repairs, inspections, and changes accurately for compliance and future reference

Requirements:

442A Industrial Electrician
3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment , preferably food/pharma
Strong electrical maintenance, troubleshooting & repair skills
Ability to perform under pressure
Strong understanding with food industry regulations (GMP, HACCP, or SQF) and working in sanitary environments
