Valid Ontario 442A (Industrial Electrician) or 309A (Construction & Maintenance Electrician) License
Minimum 2 years of industrial experience, ideally in heavy industry such as water treatment, petrochemical, cement, or manufacturing
Strong skills in troubleshooting electrical systems, PLCs, and instrumentation
Comfortable using hand and power tools and working with mechanical and hydraulic equipment

Job Responsibility

Maintain and Repair Equipment: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems including centrifuges, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic presses, and other plant equipment
Install and Upgrade Systems: Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals to install or modify control systems, instrumentation, and machinery
Inspect and Test: Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and testing of electrical and electromechanical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation
Troubleshoot Controls: Work with PLCs, DCS, and VFDs to identify and resolve control or automation issues
Collaborate: Work closely with maintenance and operations teams, providing input and technical support as needed
