Job Description:

The City of Chandler Public Works & Utilities Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as an Industrial Electrician at our Water Production Remote Facilities (Well Fields). The position is scheduled to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the opportunity to move to four 10-hour days after probation.

Job Responsibility:

Install, maintain, modify, and repair industrial electrical systems in support of water treatment plant operations and associated infrastructure involving process-controlled industrial equipment

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or GED equivalency
  • Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program
  • 3 years of journey-level electrician experience
  • A Journeyman Electrician Certification upon hire or promotion
  • A valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work

Nice to have:

ADEQ Water Treatment or Water Distribution Certification
