You will be the go-to expert for electrical maintenance and automation, working on everything from weigh-up machines and mixers to advanced dynamometers in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

Requirements:

  • Experienced & Qualified: Must be an A-Grade Electrician with a valid license and 3+ years of post-trade experience in an industrial setting
  • Strong PLC Proficiency: Experience with Allen Bradley or Siemens (knowledge of both is highly regarded)
  • Industrial Expertise: Proven experience working with VSDs, HMIs, and SCADA systems
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to work closely with Maintenance Fitters to troubleshoot complex machinery
  • Reliability & Compliance: Must have Full Australian Working Rights and the ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screen
  • Bonus Points: Open Cable Registration and knowledge of WHS Regulations

  • Perform post-repair audits to ensure safety features are functional
  • Document findings and recommend corrective actions, including safety notifications to customers
  • Consult with customers on repair and safety issues, offering recommendations for material handling improvement
  • Produce electronic documentation using company tools, obtaining customer signatures
  • Stay updated on industry codes and regulations (OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI)
  • Complete service reports and other required documents accurately and promptly
  • Communicate with the Field Operations Manager and Service Coordinator following established practices
