An Industrial Disease Fee Earner/Paralegal is wanted for an excellent opportunity with an award winning law firm in Blackburn. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

Job Responsibility:

Manage a caseload of Ministry of Defence Noise Induced Hearing Loss claims and other industrial disease matters from inception to settlement or trial

Requirements:

  • Conducting initial client assessments, taking witness statements, and gathering medical evidence
  • Drafting of letters of claim, schedules of loss, and court documents
  • Liaising with clients, medical experts, barristers, insurers, and opposing legal teams
  • Ensuring compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and pre-action protocols for disease and illness claims
  • Keeping up to date with developments in industrial disease litigation and health and safety law
