Job Description:

An Industrial Disease Fee Earner/Paralegal is wanted for an excellent opportunity with an award winning law firm in Blackburn. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

Job Responsibility:

Manage a caseload of Ministry of Defence Noise Induced Hearing Loss claims and other industrial disease matters from inception to settlement or trial

Requirements:

Conducting initial client assessments, taking witness statements, and gathering medical evidence
Drafting of letters of claim, schedules of loss, and court documents
Liaising with clients, medical experts, barristers, insurers, and opposing legal teams
Ensuring compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and pre-action protocols for disease and illness claims
Keeping up to date with developments in industrial disease litigation and health and safety law
