Job Description:

We are seeking a driven, energetic and innovative Industrial Designer that brings their A-game. Our company specializes in full-service design and production and we excel at producing retail displays/installations for some of the largest brands and retailers. If you are ready to jump into a new challenge, we want to meet you! This position will report to the Creative Services Director.

Job Responsibility:

  • Think on the fly and offer up creative ideas during meetings and brainstorms
  • Provide sketches, 3D models, final renderings of retail display fixtures or store experiences
  • Stay current and consistent in retail design trends and materials
  • Demonstrate proficiency in taking concepts from 2D sketch through to great looking 3D renderings
  • Work with Design team to guide and design retail/branding graphics and experiences
  • Utilize knowledge of temporary, semi-permanent, and permanent retail materials when applicable
  • Produce placeholder graphics when needed for presentations
  • Think through fixture details, assembly, and use
  • Highlight key design features when submitting and presenting design intent
  • Receive and manage feedback from one project to the next

Requirements:

  • Advanced sketching skills
  • Knowledge of retail design industry
  • Minimum 3 years of professional-level design experience in producing 3D renderings
  • Expert level in Adobe CC
  • InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Expert level of SolidWorks, Rhino and/or Keyshot preferred
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • ability to set priorities and adapt as these priorities shift, handle multiple assignments and deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and willingness to learn and adapt with technology
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • critical thinker, consistently able to avoid inconsistency and solve problems efficiently
  • Must remember to stay current and consistent in design trends and retail norms

Video editing, Illustration and UX/UI skills are a plus
