As an Industrial Cybersecurity Integrator at Airbus Helicopters, you'll be a pivotal member of our "Digital Security" team in Donauwörth. You'll play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cybersecurity solutions specifically tailored for our Operational Technology (OT) environments and Industrial Control Systems (ICS). You'll collaborate closely with our IT, OT, and production teams to ensure the resilience of our systems against evolving cyber threats.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and deploy cutting-edge security architectures for industrial systems, including OT networks, SCADA, PLCs, and DCS
  • Integrate and configure advanced cybersecurity solutions such as industrial firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, OT SIEM, and privileged access management solutions
  • Conduct thorough security audits and risk assessments specifically within industrial environments
  • Develop and implement comprehensive OT security policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring full compliance with critical standards and regulations (e.g., IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIS-2)
  • Maintain a proactive technological watch on emerging threats and innovative solutions in industrial cybersecurity
  • Actively participate in the resolution of security incidents impacting our OT systems
  • Drive awareness and provide training to operational teams on best practices for cybersecurity
  • Produce clear and precise technical documentation for all implemented security architectures and solutions

Requirements:

  • A higher education degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Automation, Electronics, or a related field
  • Significant experience (minimum 3-5 years) in integrating cybersecurity solutions, ideally within an industrial (OT/ICS) environment
  • Proficiency in industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA)
  • In-depth knowledge of OT architectures and components (PLCs, SCADA, DCS, RTUs, HMIs, industrial networks)
  • Familiarity with key industrial cybersecurity norms and standards (IEC 62443 is a strong plus
  • knowledge of NIS-2, ISO 27001, and NIST is essential)
  • Proven skills in system administration (Windows/Linux) and networking
  • Strong ability to analyze security incidents and propose effective corrective measures
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Rigorous, autonomous, analytical, and proactive in your approach to challenges
  • Proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken) is essential

Nice to have:

  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., GICSP, CISM, CISSP, CEH)
  • Hands-on experience with specific OT security solutions (e.g., Nozomi Networks, Claroty, Dragos, Tenable OT)
  • Good understanding of IoT principles and digitalization trends in industry
